Village Tree House, chill setting walkable to town

A tucked‑away upstairs studio among the trees, designed for an easy Door County rhythm—slow mornings, fresh air, and a quiet place to come back to after a day exploring the peninsula. With a nod to simple Nordic design this space will make you feel a world away from busy life.
Step out onto the deck to take in the wooded view, open up the double patio doors & settle into the hammock chairs, or wander down to Egg Harbor’s waterfront village for coffee shops, the marina, restaurants, breweries, and live music. Back inside, you’ll find small comforts that make a stay feel personal: a record player and an eclectic vinyl collection, a pour‑over coffee setup, Turkish cotton towels and robes, and a few good ways to unplug—puzzles, board games, and a little “treehouse” nostalgia. If you’re looking for a calm studio with a wooded view and walkable village access, this is it.

The space
The Treehouse is an upstairs studio apartment located above a detached garage. It’s set up as a single open space for simple, comfortable living—ideal for a quiet solo reset or a relaxed getaway for two with a king bed. The garage doors below will not open after 11pm, or before 8am so noise is not a factor.

Privacy + shared property:
The studio and deck are yours to enjoy. Because it sits on a shared property, you may see the other guests occasionally nearby. But your deck and view are very private. Also your host, Erin, often works at her boutique just down the road & is on property doing laundry checking gardens or maintenance occasionally during workday hours. The lawn is cut on Tuesday mornings. Interaction is always minimal and respectful—help is there when you want it, and privacy is the default.

Laundry:
Laundry is located downstairs and is shared with the neighboring Village Cottage (also hosted by Sparrow & Key).

Supplies:
We provide all bedding, towels, toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, dish and hand soap, & shower toiletries.

Location:
You’re in a quiet residential spot at the south end of Egg Harbor’s waterfront village. The deck looks out over acres of woodland, while the village‑front energy—coffee, the marina, shops, and dining—is just a short walk away.

Getting around:
Door County is easy to explore by foot in the village, by bike, by trolley, or by scenic drives between shoreline towns and parks.
